Join us at Third House Books & Coffee on April 28th in celebrating independent bookstores! On IBD, we'll have special readings throughout the entire day from some of our favorite local authors and poets: Alycin Hayes (Milo & the Mustang, for the little ones), Lauren Groff (Fates & Furies), Ashley Inguanta (Bomb), and Quanisha Madison (Opium Fields). Help us celebrate the special place that is the bookstore by meeting some of Gainesville's female writers and poets in honor of #NationalPoetryMonth and belated International Women's Month!

There will be live music by Balcony Collapse in between readings, giveaways sponsoring local charities, and as always snacks will be available from next door at the Downtown Wine and Cheese. The event is free, kid-friendly, and the perfect opportunity to grab a book by a local author. Copies of the readers' works will be available for purchase and signing.
