Stop in on Sunday, October 21st to meet local author William "Boxcar" Curry, who will be signing copies of his first book _Before the Blazes: A Story of Unconventional Journeys_. It is a tale of the modern day hobo and his daily struggles for survival riding on the steel rails in the growing world around him leading him on a path of uncertain journeys.

I consider myself a thru hiking minimalist vegetarian ultralight gear nerd as well as an inspiring ultra marathon runner and recovering addict who is a lover of all life. And if I'm not walking or running on a trail somewhere I'm writing about it.
I write what I feel and consider my style to be a mix between memoir and fiction basing the majority of my stories loosely around accounts in my own life. I am a Florida native but have traveled many places in the USA in both conventional and unconventional ways.

This life is a journey to be traveled and explored with many things to be learned in a short amount of time. Grasp it and don't waste one minute not going forward.
