Third House Books & Coffee presents Borrowed Mic Night: Back-to-School Edition!

Borrowed Mic Night is an adaptation of an open mic. Instead of sharing your own work, this is a chance for any and every one to share someone else's work. A chance to share that poem, essay, or passage from a novel that you think everyone must hear. This week we encourage to read your favorite passages about school/education/wisdom.

What if you want to share something but you don't have anything picked out or can't decide? No problem! Here is how the evening will go.

7:30-8:00: Browse the store's eclectic selection of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction and find something that moves you that you just have to share with everyone else.

8:00-10:30: Borrow that mic! Share that poem, passage, or essay you've just read or you brought with you and help share amazing words with our community.

Readers get a drink token good for a free coffee or half-off a glass of house wine from Downtown Wine and Cheese, our neighbors down the hall!
